I run an outdoor store “PORTAL” in Miyazaki Prefecture, and I go out to mountains and valleys 100 to 150 days a year. The area offers a variety of mountain activities such as hiking, trout fishing, climbing and bouldering. There are no mountains higher than 2,000m and there is little snow, so even beginners can enjoy it all year round.
